Wow! Sunday October 30th. What a great day of pickleball at the KW badminton club!
A very enthusiastic group of pickleball players arrived at the club to play in a team type pickleball tournament, some from as far as St.Catherine’s and Orangeville! Eight teams of six competed in a round robin style timed tournament and had a fabulous time. They were able to “book a ref” and played in an extra “snowball” game at the end of the tournament. Paddles and lessons were won from the prize table and the money raised was donated to Anselma House. In addition, each player donated needed items for Anselma House as part of their entry fee. So in total over $1000 in items and cash were presented at the end of the tournament.
