RMC’s newest club, the Titan Pickleballers, have been learning the game and developing their skills over the past number of weeks under the supervision of teacher coach, Lisa Goldsack.  Club members were able to take some of their newly acquired skills to the courts at Pinafore Park in St. Thomas to compete in 2 tournaments.    In their first tournament sponsored by JP2 on June 16th, ten Regina Mundi student athletes competed in men’s and mixed doubles against other high school teams from across the London District Catholic School Board and the Thames Valley District School Board.  In their second tournament on May 24th, sponsored by the St. Thomas Pickleball Club, two of our teams competed in some stiff competition against 7 other high school teams in pursuit of the coveted Dave and Helen Hall Trophy.  Both events featured some great weather, friendly competition and good sportsmanship, while promoting the love of the game with the next generation of pickleball enthusiasts.

The RMC Pickleball Club would like to thank Pickleball Ontario for loaning us some paddles and pickleballs to use for both our club and tournament play.  We look forward to continuing and expanding RMC’s pickleball club in the new school year.
