A local team left a regional tournament with a perfect record and a ticket to provincials.
Brenda Gray and Anne McManus competed in the women’s doubles event at the Northern Ontario Pickleball Championship in Sault Ste. Marie on Aug. 12-13.
The Timmins team was undefeated and won the gold medal.
The win earned them a spot to represent the north region at the provincial championship being held Sept. 21-24 in Collingwood.
