Sport Safety

Ensuring Fair Play and Integrity.  Pickleball Ontario is committed to a sport environment free from abuse and safe for all participants.

Filing a complaint

When informal resolution is not possible, individuals involved may file a complaint with Pickleball Ontario or the Office of the Sport Integrity Commissioner (OSIC), a division of Abuse-Free Sport.

Formal complaint processes, which may involve an investigation and/or Disciplinary Panel, are detailed and, at times, resource-intensive processes that can take several weeks to months to complete. It’s important to note that not all differences of opinion constitute misconduct or maltreatment. Individuals are encouraged to attempt to resolve their disputes at the member club level or informally before initiating the complaint process.

Complaints directed to Abuse-Free Sport are at the expense of the member.
