Pickleball Ontario Welcomes CBI Health as Official Physio & Performance Partner

Pickleball Ontario is pleased to welcome CBI Health as our Official Physio & Performance Partner. If you played at this summer’s Provincial Championships, you may have already met their team. Now CBI Health will be with us all year, helping players prevent injuries, recover well and stay on the court.

CBI Health first came on board as a sponsor of this year’s Provincial Championships, where their team was on site helping players and sharing advice on staying healthy.

About CBI Health

For more than 50 years, CBI Health has been one of Canada’s leading providers of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Their clinicians start by assessing each person’s pain or injury, then build a personalized plan to help them recover and get back to the activities that matter to them, whether they play competitively or just for fun.

That includes many of the issues players bring off the court, from knee and shoulder pain to tennis elbow and plantar fasciitis. CBI Health also treats back and neck pain, arthritis, sciatica, and dizziness and balance problems.

With more than 60 CBI Health and partner locations across Ontario, care is close to home for players across the province.

What members can expect

  • Injury prevention, mobility and recovery tips from CBI Health in every Pickleball Ontario member newsletter
  • Regular health features on our social channels
  • Opportunities for affiliated clubs to host educational sessions and injury-prevention clinics with CBI Health

“We’re excited to welcome CBI Health as Pickleball Ontario’s Official Physio & Performance Partner. As more people across the province pick up a paddle, helping them stay healthy and on the court matters more than ever. With clinics in communities across Ontario, CBI Health brings care close to home for our players, and together we’ll share practical advice on injury prevention, mobility and recovery with our members and clubs throughout the year. This partnership helps us do more than grow the game. It helps keep our communities healthy and active,” said Jonathon Moody, President of Pickleball Ontario.

“We’re incredibly proud to partner with Pickleball Ontario and support the growing community of athletes and enthusiasts across the province. Pickleball brings people together through movement, connection and a shared passion for staying active. At CBI Health, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to move well, feel well and live well, and this partnership allows us to give back by making our expertise, education and care more accessible to players so they can continue doing what they love,” said Jon Hantho, CEO of CBI Health.
